It rained all day Tuesday. Then in the evening the clouds in the western sky cleared enough to allow an amazing sunset to occur. There was color and cloud formation you just don't see very often. It was so remarkable that I stopped work and took a few photos and at the same time, in a different location, my wife was taking a picture to send to me in case I missed it. It was simply heavenly. As if the angels were rejoicing......and then I found out why.....Aunt Babe was coming to join them. Aunt Babe was the last of a great generation of family. She and her siblings had a bond with each other and a love for family and friends that you just don't see anymore. Babe always had a smile and a joke. Always seemed to be the life of the party. That is how I will remember Aunt Babe. We love you Babe. One thing is for sure.....Heaven just became alot more fun!

I am back home now but I wanted to say to Becky and Edward how much I appreacitaed every thing they did in taking care of mom. To Edward a very special thank you for your support to Becky. I remember when You two called me to tell me you got married I said to you Edward you be good to my sister. It never crossed my mind that you would have to play such a big part in mom's life. Once again all I can say is thanks. You have earned the stars in your crown. Love, Joan

- Joan Johnson, Summerville, SC

I will always remember Aunt Babe as the one who got one over on me as a kid. She used to tell me all the time when we were in Savannah that she had the worlds biggest swimming pool and that I needed to come to her place to see it. Well, Pauve took me to her place one day and her 'pool' ended up being the ocean. Still chuckle about it all these years later.
